Marked in 1999 by Kate Clow and a group of dedicated volunteers, the trail revives ancient paths and mountain routes into a modern hiking experience that connects the ancient and the modern world.

We meet you at Dalaman airport and transfer to hotel. Our guide will inform you about the program. Accommodation in Ovacık.
After breakfast, we head to the official start of the Lycian Way in Ovacık. The route climbs gradually with spectacular views of Ölüdeniz Lagoon and Babadağ Mountain. We reach Kozağaç Village for lunch and continue through pine forests to Kirme, where our hike ends for the day. A short transfer takes us to Faralya for dinner and overnight stay. Today’s trail begins with breathtaking views over Butterfly Valley, home to the famous Jersey tiger butterflies. We hike down toward Kabak Valley, enjoy a refreshing dip in Kabak Waterfall, and continue along the coastal cliffs with views of Kabak Bay. The day ends in Alınca Village, perched above the sea at the start of the “Seven Capes.” Dinner with a stunning sunset panorama. After breakfast, we begin directly from our lodge. The trail opens up to Seven Capes (Yedi Burunlar) — one of the Lycian Coast’s most dramatic views. We descend along zigzag paths, rest at Yassı Kaya with a view over Paradise Bay, then continue through forests and meadows to Ge Village for lunch. In the afternoon, we settle into our eco-bungalows overlooking the sea. You may walk down to the secluded beach for a swim before dinner. We start early and head toward Patara, passing through pine forests and Bel Village, where we stop for lunch. Then comes the trail’s most challenging part — the Gavurağılı Descent, a steep rocky section leading down to Karadere Beach. We end the day at our coastal accommodation with a well-deserved dinner. After breakfast, we visit Xanthos, the ancient capital of Lycia — a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its bravery and history. After hiking, w ego to Patara beach for swimming break. Distance: 4 km | Level: Easy Meals: Breakfast
