Discover the Heart of the Lycian Way; Kaş
The Lycian Way, stretching between Antalya and Fethiye, is one of the world’s most famous long-distance hiking routes.
The Kaş section forms the very heart of this ancient path — a route that once connected Lycian cities through old trade and transport roads.
Along the trail, you’ll walk through Mediterranean forests, coastal cliffs, and ancient ruins, where nature and history blend beautifully.
Join a Memorable Private Hike Tour on Lycian way
The trail was first marked in 1999 by Kate Clow, a British adventurer, and a team of passionate volunteers. By connecting ancient roads and mountain paths, they revived a forgotten part of history and created one of the most scenic walking routes on Earth.
The Lycian Way passes through pine forests, rugged cliffs, turquoise bays, and archaeological remains — each section offering a new breathtaking view.
Once home to the Lycian Civilization, the route is filled with ancient cities, rock tombs, temples, and necropolises — a living open-air museum of Anatolia’s past.
With its mix of easy and moderate sections, this route is perfect for active travelers seeking adventure, discovery, and variety every single day.
Escape the noise and stress of modern life. Immerse yourself in nature’s calm rhythm and find inner peace with every step.
Experience local village life, taste homemade delicacies, and meet warm-hearted people along the trail.
Recognized internationally, the Lycian Way attracts hikers from around the world — a chance to share the trail with adventurers from every corner of the globe.
From mountains to sea-level paths, every stage brings a different landscape and a new emotion.
This Kaş-based program perfectly combines Mediterranean hiking with a coastal holiday — a truly unique blend of relaxation and adventure.

We welcome you at Dalaman Airport. After a scenic transfer to Kaş, we settle into our accommodation. Our expert trekking guide provides an orientation about the Lycian Way — including route details, safety tips, and hiking techniques. We start our first warm-up hike from Çukurbağ Village, walking across open plains and climbing toward the Sleeping Giant ridge, which offers panoramic views of Kaş. After a short break, we descend to Kaş town, visit the ancient Antiphellos Theater, and enjoy the sunset before heading to our guesthouse at Büyükçakıl Beach for dinner and rest. Distance: 11 km | Elevation: +470 m | Level: Moderate Meals: Lunch (Lunchbox), Dinner | Accommodation: Guesthouse, Büyükçakıl
After breakfast, we begin hiking along the coastal path from Büyükçakıl to Üzüm İskelesi. We pass Limanağzı Beach, a hidden gem accessible only by foot or boat, and continue along Çoban Beach and Ufakdere, surrounded by stunning turquoise waters. The day ends at Üzüm İskelesi Bay, where the green hills meet the blue sea — a perfect spot to relax and swim before dinner. Distance: 14 km | Elevation: +180 m | Level: Moderate Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Accommodation: Bungalow, Üzüm İskelesi
Today we explore the magical Kekova region — one of the Lycian Way’s most scenic sections. After breakfast, a short transfer takes us to Boğazcık Village, where we begin hiking toward the Sıcak Peninsula. Our route passes through the ancient sunken city of Aperlai, partly submerged under the sea. We follow the coastline past Lycian rock tombs and necropolises before reaching Üçağız Village, where we’ll stay overnight in a local guesthouse by the water. Distance: 13 km | Elevation: +380 m | Level: Easy Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Accommodation: Guesthouse, Üçağız
After breakfast, we board our boat at Üçağız Harbor and glide across the sunken ruins of Kekova, visible beneath the crystal-clear sea. We continue by boat to Simena (Kaleköy) — accessible only by sea — and explore its castle and charming stone houses. The boat drops us off at Gökkaya Bay, where we begin hiking along the coastline. Passing Çağıllı Beach, we continue to Çayağzı Harbor and Andriake, then transfer to our hotel in Demre for dinner and rest. Distance: 14 km | Elevation: +120 m | Level: Moderate Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Accommodation: Bungalow, Demre
After breakfast, we visit Myra Ancient City, one of the most important Lycian settlements, and the Lycian Civilizations Museum at the historical port of Andriake. Depending on flight times, we organize your airport transfer and say goodbye after an unforgettable journey along the Lycian Coast. Distance: 3 km | Level: Easy Meals: Breakfast
